Fans are very excited that a sketch based off of the romantic comedy film, "Love Actually" is being produced for Britain's Red Nose Day charity event. Alan played Harry, her husband, in the film. Our prime minister. Again.

The upcoming Love, Actually short film revisits the movie's characters, 14 years after the original movie left off.

"We've stayed in touch", the ex-EastEnders star said, "we just have this banter!"

Discussing her hopes for their famous characters, she added: 'I'm hoping me and Hugh are still together because we're filming together.


"I really hope they've had a couple of kids and he's still doing silly dancing I'd love him to be in Downing Street", she enthused.

Martine also touched upon Emma Thompson's decision not to take part, due to fan favourite actor Alan Rickman tragically passing away previous year.

Helmed by Love Actually director Richard Curtis, the film will follow up with the characters years after the conclusion of the original film that continues to inspire thinkpieces every holiday season. - I guess that's the big question... or is it so obviously Liam?

Red Nose Day Actually will be shown as part of the annual Red Nose Day celebrations on Friday 24 March on BBC One, and has been written and directed by Richard Curtis.
