Las Vegas police release image of gunman who robbed Bellagio

Police in Las Vegas say they are looking for an armed suspect who fled from the Bellagio casino-resort after he demanded money from a cashier area.

A Vegas casino robber's auto has been found after police intensified their hunt for the man who held up a cashier at the Bellagio Hotel before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money on Tuesday, Fox News noted. South, on reports of the robbery, Metropolitan Police Department officer Jay Rivera said.

"So we are playing poker at the @BellagioPoker and a guy walks up with a gun and robs the cage thirty feet from us ten minutes ago", he tweeted.

And while officers were soon on the scene, the suspect had already gotten away.

Police said they recovered the vehicle used to make the escape, a silver 2011 Chevrolet sedan with Nevada license plate 37D147.

"We're very comfortable that we'll get some good leads and apprehend the individual", Metro Capt. John Pelletier said, citing video and photo evidence.

But that person was said to not have cooperated with the suspect and helped police instead.
