From there, the auto went airborne and launched into the second floor of a dental office building.
Santa Ana is located about 35 miles south of Los Angeles. The Santa Ana Police Department said the auto was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the median and flew into the building, which houses a dental practice.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department brought in a wrecker truck to remove the auto from the building, and Public Works is examining the structure's integrity.

The people in the auto had minor injuries and small fire that resulted from the crash was quickly extinguished.
The white Nissan Altima slammed into the center divider around 5:30 a.m., prompting the sedan to soar into the air and into the second floor of a dental office in Santa Ana, Calif., the Orange County Fire Authority said. Horner said a small fire was immediately extinguished.
