"I said, put your filthy hands all over me / And no, this ain't the clean version", he sings.
"This is a song called Filthy by Justin Timberlake. It's wonderful", tweeted one fan.
Pharrell, as well as longtime collaborator Timbaland, Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton are expected to be on the project.
"Filthy" will be followed by three new songs and visuals released weekly starting January 18, while the 16-track album is due February 2, two days before Timberlake performs at the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show on February 4.
The ironic thing about it is that in attempting to sound futuristic in 2018, "Filthy" sounds dated, clunky and out of touch, and it's not even close to as fresh as his FutureSex/LoveSounds album that came out nearly 12 years ago.
Justin Timberlake has dropped his latest single, Filthy, featuring a futuristic video and a dancing robot.
Man of the Woods arrives February 2, and three more songs and videos are expected before then.
