This compares with the national average that has fallen 1 cent per gallon in the last week to $2.51/g, according to gasoline price website

Roseville, CA- Just two short years ago, average prices in Roseville for regular unleaded hovered below the $2.40 per gallon mark.

The average price of a gallon of regular gas across OH today is $2.43 and rising, report AAA and GasBuddy. This is lower than the national average of $2.51/g. The highest was about $2.64 per gallon in the Jackson area. "Pump prices are sliding right now because crude and gasoline output have remained strong".

Although gas prices are not as they were months before, oil prices are volatile, according to Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy. "However, gas prices are still forecast to rise 20 cents in the coming months, as demand climbs and refineries switch to summer blend gasoline".

"Thus far, we have seen a market that's lacked solid upward movement when it usually sees exactly that,"said DeHaan in a news release".

Including the change in gas prices in Pennsylvania during the past week, prices Monday were 28.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 8.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

A separate survey by AAA Auto Club also released today said that average gas prices fell across Tennessee by an average of 1.5 cents per gallon with the cheapest fuel prices in the state in Southeast Tennessee. On average, motorists are paying $3 more for a full tank compared to this time past year.
