The Cavaliers' historic loss to 16-seed UMBC took out the top overall seed and thrust Villanova into the role of favorite, while preseason No. 1 Duke was dominant in its two tournament wins.

March Madness 2018 has lived up to all expectations, and in some peoples view, exceeded expectations.

The Sweet 16 is set following a roller coaster ride of an opening weekend in the NCAA Tournament. The rematch will mark the second NCAA Tournament matchup between Hall of Famers Mike Krzyzewski and Jim Boeheim, with Coach K's Blue Devils winning one in the Sweet 16 in 1998. They made the first free throw then proceed to miss the second, in which gives MI time to run a play for Freshman Jordan Poole who launched a long three-point shot while kicking out his legs to get it over the defender, swishes the shot and sends MI to the Sweet Sixteen.

The No. 2 seed Blue Devils have, admittedly, looked impressive through the first two rounds of the tournament.

Jim Larranaga's George Mason team caught fire in the Washington D.C. regional as they knocked off sixth-seeded Michigan State and third-seeded, defending champion North Carolina to advance to the Sweet 16. Michigan State looked like a completely different team, they could not score and felt like they had never seen a 2-3 zone before.

Fourth-seeded Gonzaga (32-4) will face ninth-seeded Florida State (22-11) after the Seminoles' upset of the Musketeers.

No. 5 Kentucky vs.

No. 7 Nevada vs.

No. 1 Kansas vs. Loyola won two nailbiters in defeating No. 6 Miami by two and No. 3 Tennessee by one.

No. 1 Villanova vs.

The last No. 11 seed to make it to the Final Four took the long way, which oddly enough took them through Chicago as well.

No. 2 Duke vs.

One storyline to watch: The status of 7-foot-2 Purdue center Isaac Haas, who broke his elbow in the first-round win against Cal State Fullerton.

The NCAA Tournament is all about unexpected results happening, and a week after the field was 68 was announced, United Kingdom finds itself in an unexpected situation.

March Madness has been everything we as sports fans expected and much more already this season. will the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four, and National Championship games be just as entertaining?

There they were able to sneak by fellow upstart Florida State, who also pulled off two upsets in Chicago to reach the Sweet 16, by a point in the Region Semifinals before they knocked off top-seed Kansas 71-61 to reach the Final Four in nearby Houston.
