'American Gods' Season 2 Begins Production at 'The House on the Rock'

"American Gods" is coming back to Starz", Gaiman said in the video. The House on the Rock serves as a meeting place for a conference between the gods. For a minute there it seemed as though a second season of the Starz series may not happen at all, not due to lack of interest from the network, but because of creative problems behind the scenes.

Season one of American Gods is now streaming on Amazon Prime.

However that plays out, things do look to be ready to roll in the House on the Rock's Carousel Room and beyond for Season 2.

The author joined stars including Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Yetide Badaki and Orlando Jones on location in front of "the Biggest Carousel in the World", as production gets underway on the new episodes.

American Gods season 1 is currently available in the United Kingdom exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for Prime or Prime Video members to stream or download now. World, Cloris Leachman (Raising Hope) as Zorya Vechernyaya, Peter Stormare (Fargo) as Czernobog, Mousa Kraish (Superbad) as The Jinn, Omid Abtahi (Argo) as Salim, Chris Obi (Snow White and the Huntsman) as Anubis, and Demore Barnes (Waco) as Mr. Ibis.

American Gods is exclusively available on Prime Video in Canada. The fans will get to see a lot of familiar characters on the show, as the war between the Old gods and the New gods starts. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon, is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to Mr. Wednesday, a conman but in reality one of the older gods, on a cross-country mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.
