Despite recent reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid, Liverpool fans can take heart from the fact that Mohamed Salah looks like he's planning to stay on Merseyside after he renewed his United Kingdom visa earlier today.

Salah has enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign at Liverpool, scoring 43 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions to date.

Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool's Player of the Season and First Team Players' Player of the Season whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain collected Goal of the Season for his long-range effort against Manchester City.

"I don't know which games I scored and don't remember the goals exactly but I'm always happy to feel I'm helping the team and scoring goals". This is my first year here and it is the same for some other players.

But Ramzy believes Salah should now test himself in at the highest level with either of the two La Liga giants.

"He was their best player, he was the top scorer and if he waits until next year maybe he will not get the chance to move".

Don Balon claim that will likely be Salah's last game for Liverpool, before he joins Real.

Meanwhile, earlier reported that Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has approved the signing of Salah in exchange for Gareth Bale.

Upon collecting the award at Melwood today, Salah told "I feel good, I'm happy to win it again".

Liverpool have made it through to the Champions League final this season, with Jurgen Klopp hoping to add a piece of silverware that few expected the Reds to challenge for this season.
